Ravier - Oxford

Very beautiful and extremely rare French ravier with high edges from Hautin Boulenger & Cie featuring a sparrow motif. The model is called Oxford and is from the late 1800s / early 1900s.

Length: 22 cm. Width: 10 cm.

These smaller oval dishes are called "Raviers" in French and refer to "a small dish for serving 'les hors-d´œuvre' ", but are also perfect for snacks, small cakesetc..
